This place is a joke! They sent me a post card that I owe them late fee from they say 2015! Got this postcard several weeks ago. It's 2017!. I have never returned anything late to them. Told them send me proof. Still have not received it. They are now calling me for 11.00. Place is a joke on there last leg obviously grasping for any buck they can steal. Reporting to Indiana Attorney General and Better Business Bureau. Would give minus stars if it would let me!
As one of the other customers indicated, Oasis Video is, in fact, a company that scams its customers. For a movie that was late for two days, the charges came out to be $60. If you do not pay this ridiculous late fee, they will send your "debt" to collections where they will then increase the amount owed. In this case, returning a movie 2 days late became $60 which then became $160. Oasis Video is a disgraceful company with disgraceful employees. Do not waste your time or money there as they will look to screw you over once they have the opportunity to do so.
Video Escapades/Oasis Video in Munster-Do not use this video store. They are crooks. I just had to pay a collection company almost $200 for late fees on movies I did not rent. One of their employees used my account to rent movies and racked up late fees (without my knowledge/permission) Talked to the owner Al-he is a crook. He knew the employee was stealing but did nothing. Do not do business with them unless you want them to steal your money or ruin your credit.
